DMCA Takedown Policy

ModsVerse respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe content on ModsVerse infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. Your notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. Identification of the infringing material with enough detail for us to locate it (URL preferred).
  4. Your contact information (address, phone number, email).
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Or use the report button on any mod page and select “Copyright Infringement” as the reason.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification including:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and phone number.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district in which your address is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.

Repeat Infringers

ModsVerse will terminate user accounts that are found to be repeat infringers of copyright in appropriate circumstances.

Response Time

We aim to review and act on all valid DMCA takedown notices within 48 hours of receipt.
